How to use this tool
Choose the direction, amount and annual rate. If part of the deposit remains, enter only the portion actually being converted rather than the original full deposit.
Results and examples
Rent equals converted deposit × annual rate ÷ 12; the reverse is rent × 12 ÷ rate. The default is not a current legal ceiling, so use a rate checked for the contract and date.
Worked example
Converting KRW 100 million at 6% annually gives KRW 500,000 monthly rent.
Limitations
- Statutory caps and base rates are not retrieved automatically.
- Maintenance charges, deposit-return risk and agreement requirements are not assessed.
