How to use this tool
Choose the image format and rendering scale, and provide the PDF password if needed. JPEG quality affects JPEG only; increasing scale enlarges the rendered text but also increases file size and memory use.
Results and examples
Check small lettering and page margins in the resulting images. Pages are rendered against white, and PDF features such as selectable text, clickable links and interactive form fields are not preserved in the pictures.
Worked example
Render a three-page proposal as PNG at 2× to receive a ZIP containing three page images. Render a one-page PDF as JPEG at quality 88 to download one JPG rather than an archive.
Limitations
- Selectable PDF text, links and form functionality do not survive in raster images.
- A 3× scale has nine times the pixels of 1×, increasing memory and output size.
