How to use this tool
Enter kilograms and a positive ml/kg factor. Decide whether your assumption refers to total water or beverages, and avoid adding food moisture twice when comparing it with actual intake.
Results and examples
The product appears in ml and litres. Health, weather, sweat and diet are absent, so do not treat the number as an amount you must drink or use it to change prescribed fluid restrictions.
Worked example
70 kg at 33 ml/kg gives 2,310 ml or 2.31 litres.
Limitations
- Electrolytes, exercise losses and food moisture are not separately modelled.
- Prescribed fluid limits take precedence over this arithmetic.

Does it subtract water from food?
