How to use this tool
Prepare a workbook with the intended table on its first sheet. Missing formula caches and dates represented through cell formatting can produce blank values or serial numbers, so check saved values and sheet order in the source.
Results and examples
Inspect column counts, quoting and dates in a text editor or import preview. Charts, formatting and other worksheets are omitted, and the receiving program may reinterpret values as numbers or formulas.
Worked example
An XLSX with Sales and Stock sheets exports only the first; arrange the intended sheet first before conversion. Convert a first sheet with Korean text and product names containing commas, then inspect quoting and columns in a text editor.
Limitations
- Charts, formatting, multiple sheets and formulas themselves are not preserved in CSV.
- Formulas are not recalculated; missing caches or date-formatted cells can become blanks or numeric serials.
