Credit Card Payoff Without New Purchases
Model a card balance repaid without additional spending. This does not reproduce a statement’s daily-balance calculation or combine cash advances carrying different rates.

Use a fixed amount, not the shrinking minimum, if you want a finish date.
How to use this tool
Enter USD purchase balance, annual percentage and a fixed monthly payment. A promotional-rate expiry or new purchase changes the assumption that these same conditions persist.
Results and examples
Months and total interest follow monthly interest then payment. Does not pay off means payment fails to exceed current monthly interest, not a problem solved by merely extending a display horizon.
Worked example
USD 1,200 at 0% with USD 100 monthly clears in twelve months with zero interest.
Limitations
- Daily average balances, cash advances, late fees and new purchases are excluded.
- Changing minimum payments and promotional expiry dates are not incorporated.
