How to use this tool
Choose grams, the customary don unit or fine-gold grams. It uses 3.75 g per don, 0.75 for 18K and 0.585 for 14K; fine-gold mode expects a weight already adjusted for purity.
Results and examples
The result multiplies fine-gold grams by your KRW-per-gram price. Real resale prices depend on dealer spreads and whether workmanship has value, so this is not an appraisal.
Worked example
One don of 18K equals 2.8125 fine-gold grams and KRW 281,250 at an entered KRW 100,000 per gram.
Limitations
- VAT, workmanship, assay fees and buy/sell spreads are excluded.
- A hallmark alone does not verify authenticity or actual purity.
