How to use this tool
Choose the clip and angle after checking the original direction. Captions or logos already burned into the picture rotate with the entire frame; the tool cannot independently straighten only that text.
Results and examples
Verify the output orientation, dimensions and audio playback. Video is re-encoded as H.264 while audio copying is attempted, so the source audio format can affect compatibility with the MP4 container.
Worked example
Correct a clockwise-sideways recording with a 270° turn and inspect faces and embedded captions. A 90° turn of 1920×1080 frames exchanges width and height into portrait orientation.
Limitations
- Video pixels are transformed and re-encoded as H.264 rather than merely changing orientation metadata.
- Audio is copied, so its compatibility with MP4 needs separate checking.
