Severance Pay from Monthly Wage and Tenure

How to use this tool
Enter monthly average wage and completed years and months. DC mode multiplies an assumed annual contribution by time; actual account balances, payment history and investment performance are not inputs.
Results and examples
The standard arithmetic is monthly wage × (years + months/12). A number may appear below one year, but that does not establish payment eligibility or the required employment conditions.
Worked example
KRW 3 million monthly over three years six months gives a simplified KRW 10.5 million.
Limitations
- Legal average wage, eligibility, taxes and previous settlements are excluded.
- Current retirement-benefit applicability still requires review.

Frequently asked questions
Is the DC result my account balance?
No. It is an assumed contribution multiplied by time.
Does a sub-year result prove entitlement?
