How to use this tool
Enter the desired gross commission in USD and the contract percentage. Zero cannot be inverted, and a single rate cannot represent a contract with different compensation tiers.
Results and examples
Required sales equal target commission divided by rate/100. The corresponding commission is shown too, but returns and settlement deductions can reduce actual money received.
Worked example
A USD 1,000 commission target at 5% requires USD 20,000 in sales.
Limitations
- Tiered compensation, guarantees, draws and bonuses are excluded.
- Returns, clawbacks, tax and expenses are not reflected.
