How to use this tool
Enter gross annual pay and a percentage. Values display in USD, and the monthly figure divides annual pay by twelve rather than reproducing a biweekly or thirteen-payment payroll calendar.
Results and examples
A salary of 60,000 raised by 5% increases by 3,000 to 63,000. Its monthly equivalent is 5,250 before deductions, not a prediction of the amount deposited into an account.
Limitations
- Taxes, benefits, bonuses and payroll deductions are not modelled.
- A nominal raise is different from a change in purchasing power after inflation.
