How to use this tool
Enter amount, rate and spread percentage. The implementation multiplies rate by one minus spread, which may differ from a provider adding markup to the opposite-direction quote.
Results and examples
Mid-rate and adjusted amounts share the destination unit. Their difference isolates the selected spread, not fixed transfer charges or all costs in a final settlement.
Worked example
Amount 100 at rate 1.2 with a 2% spread gives 120 at midpoint and 117.6 after the reduction.
Limitations
- Live quotes, fixed fees and settlement increments are excluded.
- Providers can quote spreads in different directions and on different bases.
