How to use this tool
Choose sale or lease and enter the KRW transaction value. There is no monthly-rent input, so the tool does not automatically derive the legally relevant lease-equivalent value.
Results and examples
Amount times bracket rate is limited by a flat ceiling where one exists. Negotiated fees and VAT are separate; verify local rules, property type and transaction date before comparing.
Worked example
A KRW 40 million sale at the embedded 0.6% gives KRW 240,000, below that bracket’s KRW 250,000 ceiling.
Limitations
- The simplified 0.4% lease band from KRW 600 million needs high-value bracket verification.
- Rent conversion, officetels, commercial property, VAT and negotiated fees are not handled.
