How to use this tool
Choose an image with a distinguishable subject and background. The threshold controls only the corner-color fallback; it is not a direct control over hair detail or object boundaries produced by the model.
Results and examples
Zoom into the PNG edges and inspect the reported model and fallback counts. The fallback can remove parts of a subject that resemble the corner colors, so results can differ substantially between photographs.
Worked example
Process a product photo on a plain background and read whether it used the ML model or corner-colour fallback. If fallback leaves background behind, compare tolerance 30 and 40 while checking that product colours were not removed.
Limitations
- The primary path is an ML model; load or per-file processing failures use corner-colour chroma key instead.
- Hair, glass and subjects resembling the background can produce incorrect automatic masks.
