How to use this tool
Choose the closest 0–3 response for every item. For comparisons over time, keep a separate note of workload, rest and recent events so a changing score is not detached from its context.
Results and examples
The sum ranges up to 24 and the displayed bands are editorial prompts. They are not diagnoses, clinical severity levels or disease probabilities; use them to prepare a conversation about work and support.
Worked example
Selecting 1 for all eight questions gives a total of 8, which does not establish whether a condition is present.
Limitations
- This is not a validated burnout inventory or a clinical interview.
- Persistent difficulty functioning deserves support regardless of the score.
Data handling
Processing stays in the current browser tab; the site does not upload tool input for the calculation itself.
