Calorie Gap and One-Week Arithmetic

Compare two daily energy figures. Converting the weekly gap with 7,700 kcal per kg is a fixed arithmetic illustration; it does not account for metabolic adaptation or predict real weight change.

Numbers stay on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.

From the TDEE calculator, or a number you already trust.

This screening tool rejects gaps larger than 1,000 kcal/day.

How to use this tool

Enter TDEE and intake in kcal per day. The form rejects intake below 1,200 and gaps above 1,000 per day, but those interface limits do not establish a personally safe dietary plan.

Results and examples

A positive difference means expenditure exceeds intake and a negative value means the reverse. Read kg and lb as arithmetic equivalents, not quantities to extrapolate into a promised goal-weight date.

Worked example

Expenditure of 2,200 and intake of 1,900 gives 300 kcal per day and about 0.273 kg of one-week arithmetic.

Limitations

  • Fluid shifts, body composition, adaptation and measurement errors are excluded.
  • Growth, pregnancy, medical conditions and eating-disorder history need professional guidance.

Will I lose that amount every week?

No. It is an energy-equivalence calculation only.

Does accepted input prove safety?
